Warbirds Men’s Lacrosse Fundraiser 2026

Fundraising is vital for the success of our program as it allows us to provide financial support to the Durham-area youth lacrosse teams during the official (spring) high school season and enabling off-season (fall & winter) activities which keep players engaged with the sport and team, actively developing their game. The funds collected by Warbirds will go towards off-season tournament participation, end-of-year coaches’ gifts, an off-season sports trainer, and equipment such as balls, goals, helmets/decals, Warbirds pinnies, storage bins/buckets, and more.

We also use some funds to support the new Durham 3rd-thru-5th grade league as well as the middle school lacrosse programs at Rogers-Herr and Githens with equipment purchases and paying for referees. Warbirds also typically donates funds to the JHS Falcons to cover the cost of their spring break trip, playoff game travel, and their end of year banquet for players, their families, and the coaches.

Lacrosse is an expensive sport and we never want cost to be an impediment to interested players – therefore, we maintain a hardship fund and also use Warbirds funds to supplement some player equipment every year. Each player has a monetary goal to raise $100 during May-hem so please consider donating so that they may reach it. Thank you so much for your support!
